Bond cars have a tradition of setting emotions and imaginations alight; and the sexy, sleek DB10 is certainly no exception to this rule! The Supercar, created specifically for “Spectre” is being auctioned for good causes on the February 18 in London, so if you fancied yourself as Bond after seeing him sliding around Rome in this beauty, this could be your chance. If, of course, you have the upwards of $1 Million that will see you in the running to win the auction!
Several of the DB10’s were written off during the making of the movie, this being one of the surviving of seven created specifically for the production, making it an extra special British sports car. Whereas most of the cars were modified during production, this DB10 is one of two which were kept standard as show cars. This is the first DB10 to be sold publicly and whilst not subject to homologation or being road registered, we’re sure it won’t stop the die-hard collectors out there, complete with a signed plaque by Daniel Craig himself.
If you can’t stretch to the auction ticket price, fret not; the DB10 is stated to be the precursor to what is suspected to be named the DB11, featuring similar styling cues and most likely Aston Martin’s all new 5.2 liter twin turbocharged V12 engine. And if your imagination is going wild trying to imagine just what that might sound like, look no further than this Youtube relase from Aston Martin. ENJOY!
The auction is set to coincide with the release of the movie on Blu-Ray alongside other movie props including Q’s laptop, and an Omega Seamaster just like the one donned by 007. Details of the auction from Christie’s can be found here.
